Asset types

In HubCreate, assets are the building blocks you deploy to your HubSpot account. These assets can be varied in type, each serving different purposes in your marketing automation and CRM management. Below are the different asset types supported by HubCreate:

Custom Objects

Custom objects allow you to create unique, business-specific data structures in HubSpot. They are used to store information that doesn't fit within the default HubSpot objects (like Contacts, Companies, etc.). You can define custom properties and use them in your workflows, reports, and dashboards.

Emails

Emails are a critical part of marketing automation. HubCreate allows you to create, customize, and deploy email templates directly to your HubSpot account. Whether you're sending newsletters, promotional offers, or transactional emails, HubCreate can help streamline your email management and ensure consistency.

Forms

Forms are essential for capturing lead data. With HubCreate, you can deploy forms to your HubSpot account, enabling you to gather information from prospects and customers.

Pipelines

Pipelines represent stages in your sales or service processes. In HubCreate, you can define custom pipelines, set up stages for deals, and manage the flow of leads through different phases. Creating and managing pipelines ensures that your team can track progress and optimize sales processes effectively.

Landing Pages

Landing pages are essential for converting visitors into leads. With HubCreate, you can design and deploy landing pages that align with your marketing campaigns. These pages can include forms, CTA buttons, and personalized content that help drive conversions from your audience.

Lists

Lists in HubSpot allow you to segment your contacts into meaningful groups. With HubCreate, you can deploy smart or static lists to organize and target your audience based on specific criteria such as behaviors, interests, or demographics. This feature is ideal for personalized marketing and communication.

Workflows

Workflows are automations that help streamline your marketing, sales, and customer service processes. HubCreate enables you to deploy workflows that trigger actions like sending emails, assigning tasks, or updating contact properties. This asset type is crucial for ensuring consistent and timely communication with leads and customers.

Each asset type in HubCreate plays a key role in managing and optimizing your HubSpot account, ensuring that you can automate, personalize, and analyze your business processes with ease.

HubDB Tables

HubDB is HubSpot's relational database feature that allows you to store and manage structured data directly within HubSpot. HubDB tables can be used to power dynamic content on websites, store product catalogs, team directories, and more.

What Gets Imported

When you import a HubDB table, HubCreate captures:

  • Table structure - Column definitions including names, types, and options
  • Table metadata - Name, label, and configuration settings
  • Row data - All existing rows with their values (when available)

Deployment Behavior

When deploying HubDB tables to a target HubSpot account:

  • A new table is created with the same structure
  • Column definitions are replicated exactly
  • Row data is copied if included in the import
  • The table name may include a suffix to indicate the target account

Use Cases

  • Product catalogs - Deploy standardized product listing tables across client sites
  • Team directories - Quickly set up team member databases for multiple clients
  • Location data - Replicate store locator or office location tables
  • Pricing tables - Deploy consistent pricing structures across accounts

Requirements

To import and deploy HubDB tables, your connected HubSpot account must have:

  • Access to the HubDB feature (included in CMS Hub)
  • The hubdb OAuth scope (automatically requested during account connection)
